We were sad to announce the death in September of our brilliant Shadows guitarist Stephen Swann. We will leave his photographs on this site for the time being.
His friend Brian Haycock has stepped into his shoes and will keep the music alive the way Stephen did. We are pleased to welcome Brian and his stylish playing.

Rock of Ages is an experienced 5-piece band rooted in the Rock 'n' Roll era. We have 3 lead singers, each with his own distinctive style. Our line-up consists of 2 guitars, bass, keyboards and drums. The centrepiece of our repertoire is the music of the 50s and early 60s and we always adjust the mix to suit the audience. Click here for a taste of our range

Just an idea of reactions we've had
Rock of Ages play the standards from the period: Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Jerry Lee Lewis, Fats Domino, Gene Vincent, Everly Brothers, Eddie Cochran, Chuck Berry, Cliff Richard & The Shadows, Bill Haley etc
- We're happy to include Ballads, Waltzes and Country Music: Jim Reeves, Johnny Cash etc
- We're proud of our authentic instrumental sound: especially The Shadows but also Duane Eddy and numerous others
- We can also provide dinner music: Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole and many jazz standards
We play for private dinner dances, golf club socials, hunt balls, Masonic functions, weddings and parties as well as a regular circuit of public clubs.
Rock of Ages is a reliable vintage rock'n'roll band with a large repertoire which we gladly vary to suit each occasion.
We love bringing the music of "The Rock 'n' Roll Years" to a wider audience!
